The Swan is tucked away on a no-through road on the south-eastern edge of Newton. As you enter Newton the lane follows round to the right and leads to the church.  Branching off by the pub, following the Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire county boundary is a byway leading to Knotting.

The Swan serves good food in a friendly atmosphere with regulars traveling from miles around.  Good food is served along with a range of local ales and beers.

The Swan competes in darts and table skittle leagues in and around Northants.
